Veteran's Home Care

" WE KEEP OUR BOOTS ON THE GROUND "

Serving Those Who Have Valiantly Served Our Nation

At Foundations Senior Services, we wear our honor with pride – to be of service to the heroes of our country through our Veterans Home Care Program.

Understanding Your Service & VA Benefits

Why should veterans opt for Foundations Senior Service for their Home Care needs?

Every veteran deserves a plethora of benefits. However, the maze to attain these benefits can sometimes be challenging. We are here to bridge this gap. With our in-depth knowledge about veteran programs and services, we ensure the care you seek is always within your reach.

What’s more? Our dedicated veterans liaisons will always be by your side. With a majority of them being veterans themselves, they'll be your guiding light in accessing the numerous benefits and services provided by the Veterans Administration (VA).

Military Medal

The Unique Essence of a Special Home Care Program for Veterans

Our veteran liaisons are equipped to understand the nuances of your military service, offering support - be it physical, emotional, or spiritual. Their special training is tailor-made to address your unique concerns, ensuring you're always connected to the appropriate services.

Beyond the liaison, our Veterans Home Care team stands with you to:

  • Decipher VA benefits and their eligibility criteria

  • Identify the most apt benefits for you

  • Assist in application and acquisition of your eligible benefits and services

  • Network with fellow veterans

  • Support both short-term and long-term health care needs

Is Your Home Care Insured?

Absolutely! Home care is majorly covered by Medicare, Medicaid, the VA, and a majority of private insurance providers. The VA benefits, though varying, typically grant benefits to combat or wartime veterans without considering income. Yet, it’s essential to remember that peacetime veterans may have income-based eligibility.

For eligibility:

  • The veteran should have an honorable, other than honorable, or medical discharge

  • Active duty of at least 24 months is a typical prerequisite

Our caregivers are flexible, offering services both hourly or round the clock, as per your needs.

Diving Deeper into VA Home and Community Based Services

Designed for the chronically ill, elderly, or those with disabilities, the VA's Home and Community Based Services enables veterans to remain in the comforting embrace of their homes. As an alternative to institutional care, it also offers respite care for the veterans and their loving caregivers.

Aid & Attendance Benefits – How Do They Help?

These benefits are tailored for eligible veterans and their surviving partners who need assistance with daily activities, irrespective of whether these needs stem from a service-related injury or not. Under this program, we offer non-medical home care, personal care, and companion services for anyone above 18.
